Ok, you need p2k drivers, (in download section) first
If p2kcommander syas connected, you ca browse /a or /c volumes
From drive select dropdown list. (marked with yellow star if present)
Navigate into /a/mobile/audio or similar folder there are mp3s
with F5 or copy button you can copy them to PC folder

Good luck

Reporting from Venezuela: V3m and L7c works fine on P2KCommander: usual CDMA quirks do apply, but file management works OK with latest 4.9.E.

However, U6c DOES NOT WORK with P2KCommander (i can't remember right now the exact error message, but it's impossible to get a file list). No "weird"/crippled firmwares used, just standard MotoUI-based ones (V3m's sold here uses the widely known "Vivo" FW, because most Latin American phones are flashed/programmed in Brazil)

Excellent program, man! My V3m is pretty much customized thanks to useful tools like this one Grin

Its NOT a P2K phone, Its another platform called ODM, it will take a lot of experimentation, but I believe (?) that DMTool is a file manager for ODM Motos.

Just got a MOTORAZR VE20.... and it works nicely with v6.0.0 Smiley FYI, this one is CDMA.

Phone is P2K05, and the only way to access filesystem on it is via P2KCommander (with the limited EFS-over-P2K filesystem, although most of the /brew directory is visible on P2KC, save for a bunch of empty folders and some hidden files), and QPST (you will need a VERY RECENT version - build 323 or later!). BitPim FAILS with this one.

Firmware version: VEGAS4_00.52.00R
Carrier: Movilnet (Venezuela) - the UI is the same as all other non-Sprint VE20's (Alltel, USCellular, Telus, etc...)
USB Device class: Composite (separate modem + diag port)

I am attempting to use P2K Commander with my Motorola w755, but it is not working.  Here is the log:

Looking for update.
Starting engine.
P2k-core V_1.5 activated.
 Search for Motorola USBLAN Interface.
 Search for Motorola Test Command.
 Search for Motorola Data Interface.
 Found Interface: Motorola Communication Interface
 Inteface number: 00, Endpoints: 81 82
Switching to P2kmode (cca. 2-3 sec)
!error: bulk write failed

So it appears that the phone is being seen but communication is failing for some reason.  This is the package p2kc_0.6-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb installed on Linux Mint 8 Helena - x64 edition.

What do I need to do to get this running?

Hi

Looks like some cdma phones has different switching command.
I do some research with usb sniffer on windows and motorola MSU ( which official app can switch cdma phones to p2k mode ) and can read proper switching command, and target sub-device.

Sorry but this is not implemented ( nor win nor linux p2kcommander )

I suggest users to run MSU, and after phone switched to p2k mode , run p2kcommander
On linux no solution yet...sorry again
