Cannot read KRZR K1m... please help

Using a K1m with Verizon.

Connects and reads fine with Motorola Phone Tools.
Modem in device manager is labelled "Motorola USB Modem".  This disappears when starting  P2k Commander.  No modem entry left.
I have tried using Motorola Software Update running also to allow P2k Commander to connect to phone.  Same result.

Auto-start will recognize the phone and switch it to p2k mode...

Then P2k Commander will run and give the following:

USB p2k device found phone connected
p2k Tci IF up
TCI Command set: 3G Fast

CMD:  Answer wait timeout
Volume name fail
0 files found

Also get alot of USB: IO time-out!

Then - the program crashes if anything else is tried.  This happens every time.  I am running full XP with all the latest updates.



Please some help would be greatly appreciated.  I am a newbie at this.

afaik K1m is CDMA phone. (problematic with P2kc)

anyway pls send a screenshot from options dialog
(are you use V410?)

I am using P2K 3.2.6 with my KRZR K1m and it works fine
I do have to run the Motorola software update first then P2K
I cant seem to run 4.1 on my Win 2000 OS


I just recieved a 1 gig trans flash card today and I cannot seem to get P2K to
access the card
Any thoughts?

The problem is in my code under w2k.
i must install w2k and make some test and fix........

Thanks for the timely reply.  Found a solution - deleted the Autostart and the program worked perfectly.  No crashes.

I have the same phone and i am running 3.3.0 i got on disc on ebay.  I have followed all steps as far as i can tell to a tee and all programs work fine except when i get on the p2k it will not show the folders and it shows the same messages that the other post was getting on his phone.  Any help or detailed instructions would be great i have been messing with it almost all day trying to work it out but all it usually does is crash when i try something.

Read the post above yours...  I deleted the Autostart.exe program from the P2kCommander folder and the program worked OK.  The only problem I still get is the phone will restart each time I delete 1 file from the ringtone folder.  Can be time consuming if you want to delete several files.  let me know if you have the same problem.  Good Luck.
