The latest P2k driver from Motorola

This stupid Phone is driving me NUTS!  I downloaded the driver and p2k and I get this error in p2k

USB lan device found, NOT connected

This is driving me nuts!  all I want to do is add stupid ringtones.  Bitpim connects fine and I can see the Phone as a modem but cant get p2k to work???  Not sure what is going on.  Please help.

V5 series comes with default settings to new linux phones V8,E8,Z6,U9...etc
if your phone isnt linux based , but old p2k or p2k05, you need to go options
and set mode to p2k/p2k05, and uncheck use p2k05 and filefilter

or just use the latest V-5.0.8 which can autodetect p2k/linux phones

your phone is simple p2k afaik
of pourse you need p2k drivers also

dude, before you use p2kcommander, you MUST be running the Motorola Software Update program in the background.  It can be obtained for free at
