RAZR V3 only showing partition P2k:/a/

Hi you specialists,

I have a nice Motorla RAZR V3, an USB cable, a WinXP-SP2 computer and P2k-Commander 3.3.4. It seems, I have installed all drivers, the windows device manager says:

+ Motorola USB device
  - Accessories Interface
  - Data Logging MCU Interface
  - Test Command Interface

The Modem entry I had once is gone.

P2k Commander only shows Partition P2k:/a/ the other partitions are missing. I cannot access anything sensible... I would like to load MP3s onto my RAZR and would like to pick the photos I made from it.

Can someone please give me a hint? Any comment is welcomed...

Oh i see there is 2 volumes on your phone:
/a and /c
in the options dialog you can select which partition will be read.............hope it will help

Hi s5vi,

it works! Fine! Unfortunately I tried all letters before, but not "c"! Thanks for your help. Do you know, what files can be deleted to get more space? In the "a" partition there are two vodafone GIFs and in the "c" partition are some more big files. Who knows what all the predefined files are good for an whether I can delete them? Some file extensons seem to be the same as in Windows. Can I backup the files and delete them and restore them if they are needed?

Check out the Motomodders forums. They will give you some good lists of what does what. They will also help you know what ver you have. Luck.
