P2K V6 won't write to phone, please help[.

Please help, I am a new P2K user.  I am running V 6.0 on a Windows Vista.  I can connect to my Motorola VA76r and read files to P2K.  I am unable to copy files to my computer or to modify or delete file entries on my phone. I have set the phone connections to "modem".  I can upload files using Windows explorer or Motorola Phone Tools.  How can I use P2K to make changes to my phone?

your phone runs linux motomagx, afaik
there are somep laces are readonly, and others writeable

Thank you very much for the information!  Now I know what is going on.  The folder: usr/data_resource is on readonly partition on the phone.  Is there a way to change the attributes of this partition?
