deleting sound in ringstyles list

i have a rokr z6m. when i delete a sound, it still will show up as an option in the ringstyles detail menu. how can i delete it from this list. it does not play the actual file. its just playing a tone that sounds like "riinng riinng". is there a way to possibly remove it from the list in my ringstyles detail menu?

Older p2k/p2k05 phones has MyTonedb.db and TempToneDb.db
these are index files, and if you touch ringtones (add/delete), you should delete index files, and restart phone

ha im sort of new at this and i dont really understand what you are talking about. where is the mytonedb.db ?
