OS:  Windows Vista (32bit) SP1
Phone:  Motorola Razor V3
Flex version: GSMU3MYCIN01NA0F5
Technology:  Quad-Band GSM
S/W version:  R374_G_0E.41.C3R_B
DSP S/W Version:  62343400
Language List:  0003
Data Ready:  Yes
Browser Ready:  Yes

I've been at this for hours, and seem not to get any positive results.  I think it may have something to do with the p2k drivers I downloaded (Handset_USB_Driver_32_v3.7.0.msi) that was provided from the download area.

The problem is that when I plug this phone into my USB port, I get a balloon pop up that says:  USB Device Not Recognized.  One of the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.  For assistance in solving this problem, click this message.  I checked the device manager, and it displays as an Unknown Device.  I have tried manually installing the driver from the Motorola list using the USB Composite Device and that didn't work.

Any idea what's wrong besides the obvious message telling me that the device has malfunctioned?  I also have bluetooth enabled on the phone and PC and I am able to communicate to it with no issue.  Can I use p2k through bluetooth connection?

I've shut off bluetooth, restarted, replugged, and such in many different combination possible (did I mention I have been at this for hours?)

Your phone must be in data/fax mode
/settings/connection/usb
maybe you must use usb slot on your computer's rear panel, and using of usb hubs is not recommended

if drivers installed and phone i sin data/fax mode and plugged in, in devicemanager must be listed an usb modem
i have tested on my pc with both 32 and 64 bit vista.

I don't have an option for "USB" under settings/connection.  I only have "Bluetooth" and "Sync".  The phone is connected to back of computer and the device manager lists it as "Unknown Device".

Yes, you're right,m i have checked it with my daugter's V3
V3 always in data/fax (modem) mode. there are no other modes available in V3
other phones has memcard, and ptp (just like camera) modes

So this phone must be appear as a usb  modem when plugged in.
maybe drivers corrupted
You sould unistall and reinstall them, or doublecheck with other device that usb slot is operational

Just get this driver and run it. (*.msi file, this is executable)
http://www.el-co.hu/dl/Handset_USB_Driver_32_v3.7.0.msi
after that, you can launch p2kc
