Hi,

I've followed the instuctions to upload my own MP3 and making this my ringtone. It works perfectly fine until I unplug the USB cable. Then, the phone advises me that it's now on vibrations. There no ringtones in the menu. All my ringtones AND the song that I've uploaded are in multimedias / songs... but this specific phone (motorola V3r) doesn't allow me to set a ringtone from there.

I've tried everything from reseting my phone while it's still USB-connected to simply turning off the computer while it's plugged (I was fine until I disconnected the USB cable... even if the computer was turned off). Tried a lot more than that (upgrading or downgrading P2k)... I always get the same result.

What can I do?!

did you delete index files?
MyTonedb and TempTonedb

these files must be delete after ringtones uploaded
and powercycle your phone

I had done it... probably made a mystake along the way. It works fine now!

I guess if that happens to someone else, re-doing the whole procedure step by step would be the key.
