K1m not connecting

  Ok, the water is above my head and I am quickly sinking toward the bottom of the lake.


  I have installed the latest version of P2kcommander 5.05 and can not get my K1M to be seen.  I have the Motorola Phone tools installed and can access the phone through there, with the exception of transfering files ack and forth.

  Most of the answers posted here assume you know what you are doing, which I don't.


1)  If I have the MPT installed, do I still need to install additional drivers?
2)  According to the word doc.  it says the K1m is supported, but may not be fully supported.    Just what kinds of actions will I be able todo?
3)  What do I need to do to get my K1m to be seen?

MPT is not p2k app, MPT not needed
but p2k drivers yes
download p2k drivers and P2kCommander V5.0.8 here:

The MSU doesn't work for my vista. I have the 64 bit. Can someone help me?
