I've tried to get P2KCommander to see the files on my phone. Never connects. I have Moto VU204. Just trying to add ringtones, etc ,etc. I am connected via a USB. Any tips or idea's?

The error I am getting is as followed:
USB: IO Time-Out!
CMD: Data Write Fail!
Volume Name Fail!

If you used V5 series , you must set mode to p2k in options dialog
Series 5 has default config for linux phones
or just use the latest V-5.0.8 which can autodetect p2k/linux phones

your phone is simple p2k afaik
of pourse you need p2k drivers also

Still no luck. I've tried all the tips on HowardForums and still nothing.

The log reads as:
Motorola Test Command

Tci command set: P2k05

I don't know what I am doing wrong here. Other people used the same steps I have been using and they got it to work. Me not so much. Any help would be appreciated.

In your log:
