I have no luck with my CDMA V3m... while it works with P2KCommander on Wintendo, i get this error trying to use it on Linux (Fedora Core 6_64 bit, BTW):
Looking for update.
Starting engine.
P2k-core V_1.5 activated.
Search for Motorola USBLAN Interface.
Search for Motorola Test Command.
Search for Motorola Data Interface.
Found Interface: Motorola Communication Interface
Inteface number: 00, Endpoints: 81 00
Switching to P2kmode (cca. 2-3 sec)
!error: bulk write failed
So it fails to put the phone in P2K mode. Now, if i use another tool to put the phone in P2K mode (for example: p2ktest from Moto4lin):
Looking for update.

P2k-core V_1.5 activated.
Search for Motorola USBLAN Interface.
Search for Motorola Test Command.
Found Interface: Motorola Test Command

This is P2k phone.
Phone model:
If i select "p2k: /a" on the drive list, and hit "Re-Read", another blank "Phone model:" line appears on the log, and after 10 seconds, the program simply quits (no error messages, no segfaults, no nada! It just dies...)
With p2k-core, the same things happen... (i also need here to enter P2K mode from other app)
[tomman@tomman_lp_c2 p2k-core]$ ./p2k-core
V_1.5 Commands: exit,conn,info,seem,file,fold,mode,help,list
Shell commands and command history (up/down arrows) also works.
