Hi, I need help using this program. Not sure if this is the right forum, but here is my problem: whenever I try to make a folder or copy a folder onto my phone, it either says 'generic fail' and shows a file that isn't actually on the phone, or has the windows error message of 'send or don't send'. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if they have this problem? I have a motorola razr v3a, and I am running the motorola software update program while I use this program to get the phone to show up.

Some phone firmwares enables to create new folder ONLY into /a/mobile/skins or /c/mobile/skins

The only drive that works is A, and I am trying to add a new skin in the skin folder. So I don't think that is the problem. It still says GENERIC FAILURE but now it also says 'Volume name fail!' whenever I try to do something. When I right click on the folder containing the skin files and select Copy, it loads for a few seconds, then has the Send/Don't send error, and when I open the program again it has a File instead of a folder. I can see all the directories and files on the phone, but whenever I try to change something it has errors. Do I need to install anything other than this, the drivers, and Motorola Software update? It took me forever to try to figure out how to get the phone to show up in the first place.

By the way, is version 4.9.E the latest version of p2k commander? I have seen a few different versions saying they were the latest.

Sorry for that, p2kc CANNOT copy folder and files at once
You must create  a  destination folder and then copy files into it

It won't let me create the destination folder by itself. When I hit 'make new folder', I type in the folder name ('BlackII', the name of the skin), it says Volume name fail. Then I open the folder and put the files in. If I unhook the phone or try to refresh the data, the folder dissapears.

You acn not make new skins with the V3a. You CAN MODIFY the original ones but make sure you HAVE EVERYTHING BACKED UP!!!
