Hi s5vi
I tried USBview with my V8 and here are the results.
First I set my V8 to Modem in USB Setting in Connection, see here
Then I set it to Memory Card in USB Settings in Connections, see here
Next is the Media Sync. in USB Settings, see here
Lat is the USB Printing in USB Setting, see here
But in all cases I did not get any Interface info.  Cry
That might be because I do not have USBLan option on my V8.

AFAIK if you start RSD lite, V8 will act as USBLAN device. Psycomorpher send me a screenshot and device talk on UDP port number 11000

To get more info from USBview pls menu/option/config descriptors
and refresh view

if USBLAN mode succes pls post output of "ifconfig /all" from command line

thanks....

OK, I'll try that. And I got the same info from Psycomorpher, that the V8 connects to RSD with 192.168.16.2:11000.
Yeah, worked! See here

Could not get it all in one picture. So here is it again in 2 parts.
Picture1
Picture2

I will try the V8 with p2k-core, but I am not very hopeful or does it not matter that it is no p2k phone?

Update:
As expected p2k-core would not find the V8, but ifconfig -a came up with something, I had my V8 USB Setting on Modem.
Screenshot
The first two are my network card, then I think comes my Bluetooth adapter and under usb0 is the V8, I think!

Thanks...
P2k-core cannot manage files on V8.
Now i just to try to switch from modem mode to USBLAN mode.
To do this after launching p2k-core, you must enter "mode l" to switch lan mode
or other p2k phones which go to p2k mode automatically enter "mode a" to switch modem mode and enter "mode l" to switch lan mode.
anyway p2k-core can find at device?
or you can try "p2k-core -m" to start with modem mode autodetect

to decide that usb0 device in your ifconfig list is V8 or not. just run ifconfig without plugging V8
and run ifconfig before and after running p2k-core

if that switching will be correct i will port it to p2kcommander too.
