I have a V3t RAZr. I have it connect daily for motorola tools without any problem. When I try to run P2K (Ver. 3.3.0 , 3.3.1 , 4.0.0 and 4.9.Cool, I get an error and window that pops up and state that it encountered a poblem and needs to close. I have try numerous things without any luck.
What options can I try. I have installed the Drivers included in the 4.0.0 version (P2kDrivers_2.3), the newest motodev usb drivers, etc. The phone tools works without any issues as well as the memory card.
Thanks for your help,

Are there other files I need besides the P2KCommander zipped file? The application itself is what will not run. Attached is a copy of the error log that was generated when I tried to start the application. Am I missing something? Below is a copy of the error log.

I can use Skinner4Moto to install skins, which will open P2KCommander and send the files. But as soon as the files send the program (P2KCommander) closes. If I try to open it by clicking the exe file it crashes. Same as when P2KAutostart tries to run it it crashes.
Anyone wanna help me out here? I am running out of ideas.

Hi,

drivers and os is ok, latest motodev, and xpsp2 is supported and reported from many peoples to work.
my last tip is remove all files. and from registry remove all p2k entries
.p2kc
P2kCommander
P2kAutostart

Then re-unzip, and retry
P2kautostart is not recommended, it has quite old code....

I removed all entries with p2k from my registry. Deleted the entire folder which had the P2KCommander located in it. Unzipped the 4.9.C version. Tried to run P2KCommander.exe and same result.
When I run Skinner4Moto and install a skin, P2KCommander opens, connects and transfers the correct files as needed writhout any problems. I  there possibly a command line flag that is being used to run                        it during this proceddure. I noticed in my registry it had %1 for the command line. If the program itself was corrupt then it would not start anytime. Are there any other files required to run this such as any .dll's or vb files?

You can try the latest:
http://www.el-co.hu/smf/index.php/topic,195.0.html

No other dll or vb modules need (only p2kdrivers of course)
my app is pure 100% assembly

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I've been having exactly the same problem. Through trial and error, I've discovered that deleting P2kCommander.exe.manifest seems to fix this problem -- I have no idea why. Hope that helps.
