I am trying to get the P2KCommander to connect to the newer V950 Renegade from Sprint but with no success.
Here is my setup:
Windows XP Service Pack 3
Motorola Driver Installation 4.2.4
When the V950 is plugged into the USB port, Device Manager indicates a Motorola USB Modem #2 (COM3), Motorola USB Diagnostic Port (COM18) and the Motorola USB Composite Device.
The options in P2k Commander is set to the recommended default as indicated in the forum sticky.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have included a view of the IPREPORT and snippet of the .log (they failed as attachments)

Thanks for the tip. I went ahead and installed MSU. It actually updated my phone as well. Once the phone is plugged in I get MotoConnect to eventually indicate "Motorola phone has been successfully detected". Run P2KCommander I get
'No modem/p2k/usblan device found, NOT connected !' in the log window. I proceed to run MSU. It will not detect the phone automatically. I disconnect/reconnect the phone. MSU indicates phone is connected. As well, you see P2kCommander successfully connect.

I am able to view the various files on the phone.  I ventured over to the SEEMs. I drilled down to some of the security/unlock codes and unfortunately the folder contained no files. I tried a simple one like 'Phone Model Number' and it just hangs and never returns. I see "CMD: Answer packet invalid!" in the log window. Is P2KCommander a useful tool to manipulate this CDMA phone's SEEMs or is it beyond its scope? Thanks.
